After 4 years of R&D, Hyderabad's deep-tech aerospace firm BluJ Aerospace unveils Gen 2 eVTOL Aircraft
BluJ Aerospace unveiled its Gen 2 eVTOL aircraft, a major milestone achieved after four years of in-house R&D. The fully electric aircraft is designed for heavy-payload logistics, carrying over 200 kg payloads within a 500 kg take-off weight category and is currently undergoing flight testing. Built on BluJ’s proprietary VANTIS platform, Gen 2 marks the company's transition from a technology demonstrator to a commercial-grade aircraft. The Hyderabad-based startup is also developing larger VTOL and hydrogen-electric aircraft variants, targeting logistics, defence, and future passenger mobility markets.
